Developer / AI enthusiast / Optimist

Robert
Wydra.

I build things with AI.
And have a lot of fun doing it.

At work, I bring AI agents together. After hours, I tinker with local models, look after OtterShot, and explore what technology can make possible.

Keep it simple. Embrace the acceleration.

At work

I work at SAP as an Application Engineering Expert / Technical Product Owner, building an application where multiple AI agents work together.

I really like working there and I encourage you to look at the current openings we have.

After hours

OtterShot

My spare-time project for sport shooters: free shot analysis, available at ottershot.com. I build and maintain it because useful tools should be within everyone's reach.

Give it a shot

Exploring AI

I spend a lot of time experimenting with local language models. There's something especially satisfying about running a model on your own machine, especially those that are free (have guardrails removed).

I also follow what's new in AI, especially tools for developers. Codex, Claude Code and Hermes are part of how I make things now. Trying out ideas, building something cool, sharing it with friends and other enthusiasts. I'm having a great time.

Worth following

A few places I keep coming back to.

r/LocalLLaMA My regular stop for local models, lots of inspiration and cool ideas.

The AI Daily Brief Awesome to the point podcast I recommend. Around 30m, perfect for the morning commute.
X Too many interesting accounts to list. Start with merve and Andrej and go from there.

Towards the stars

I'm optimistic about what comes next.

I support accelerationism and e/acc, especially eu/acc. I believe that the faster we develop AI, the sooner we'll be able to tackle climate change, cure diseases, overcome death, and reach the stars.

A big part of that outlook comes from Iain M. Banks's Culture series: stories that helped me imagine a future of abundance, curiosity, and possibility. If that sounds like your kind of future, I highly recommend his books.
